Isis through History
In Egyptian mythology, Isis is a pivotal figure, particularly in the Osirian cycle, which tells the story of the death, resurrection, and triumph of her husband, Osiris, and their son, Horus. Her image was one of immense power, loyalty, and protection. Revered as the ideal mother, Isis was credited with resurrecting Osiris after his murder by Set and hiding and nurturing Horus to ensure his eventual victory over Set. Known for her unparalleled magical abilities, she healed, protected, and used her wisdom to influence gods and men alike.
