What’s in a Kiss?

Beneath its poetry, kissing can play an important role in our choice of a mate. We may not be aware of it, but when we kiss, we engage all our senses to learn more about our partner. A cascade of information is sent to our brains, and a thorough evaluation takes place in our subconscious, giving us the instinctive want to go deeper or warning us that something isn't right.
